Totem is an enemy in Sonny. They assist the Shamans of Gadi'Kala in combat and were likely created by them. They are quite weak and do not pose much of a challenge as enemies.

Notes on enemy AI: While in a given battle stage, enemies will attempt to use First Choice abilities. If impossible (due to focus, silencing or cooldowns), they will proceed to Second Choice, etc.
Cooldown for enemies indicates how often abilities may be used, and is effectively one less than for Sonny (IE cooldown of 2 can be used every second turn)
Enemy-targetting abilities have a chance of targetting the weakest enemy rather than targetting at random; this is given in the Attributes section above.
Ally-targetting abilities always target the weakest targetable ally.
Selection within a category is random unless indicated.

Tactics[]

If not careful, Totems can pose quite some threat to the classes with low health such as Assassins and Gunslingers. Their Magic Bolts and Electro Bolts can deal moderate damage. Since Electro Bolt can nullify and pierce through the shields, players should not be too reliant on Supression, Block or likewise moves in the battle. Also, because their healing capabilities are not to be underestimated, the players should first focus their attacks on Totems instead of the Shamans. Totems will not be able to perform any abilities once they run out of their Focus. Players can try to speed up the depletion of the Totem's Focus by using Disruption. But because the Totems have low health, players should be able to stun them then deliver a lethal blow, or destroy it with a single attack.

In a combat kill the Totem before the other enemy.

They drop nothing.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only enemy in Sonny that does not use the standard attack form. Additionally, this is the only non-humanoid enemy in Sonny.
  • Broken Totem may have been intended as a drop, but later scrapped.
  • This enemy is the one of the two enemies who doesn't have any A.I. Exclusive Abilities, the other one is Antagonist.
