Sonny Legacy Collection is a re-release of Sonny and Sonny 2 that released on September 30th 2024.[1]
Overview[]
On the 25th of April 2024, the Armor Games Studio Twitter account announced the Legacy Collection with a link to its page on Steam.[2]
Ever since the announcement, both Armor Games accounts has been advertising the game semi-reguarly on Twitter, showing either screenshots or short gifs of the game.[3][4][5][6]
The reason why Sonny and Sonny 2 are being ported to Steam is unknown, though it is likely a part of a wider attempt by Armor Games to port their most known Flash games to Steam, seen with Neon Rider Classic, Shift Legacy Collection and the Elephant Collection.
Changes from the Flash Version[]
Both[]
- The Play MORE Games! and the www.armorgames.com button on the menu has been removed.
- The German language option has been removed.
- Save files cannot be named, instead they are called Lvl # Class.
- The option menu includes statistics related to the amount of respecs and training fights you've done. It also includes the highest damage Sonny done in physical and elemental damage.
- Glitches related to the games running on Flash are impossible to recreate.
- Both games keep their aspect ratio fullscreened. In the Flash version of Sonny and Sonny 2, the games were scretched.
Sonny[]
- Respeccing is no longer limited to five times a day.
- The Special Training fight in The Infinity can be done an infinite amount of times a day.
- Achievements are added for completing zones, dealing a certain amount of damage in one attack and beating Gadi'Kala without training fights or respeccing.
Sonny 2[]
- You cannot paste PVP codes.
- New achievements were added relating to damage and zone completion.

- In the trailer, the version of Heroic Confrontation that plays is likely the remastered version made for Sonny: Complete Soundtrack.
- KrinLabs is still mentioned in the 'You're Dead, Sonny...' message in Sonny 2 despite the website's closure.
