Snow Storm is an A.I. exclusive Active ability in Sonny (2017).
In-Game Description[]
Deal X damage and applySlow to all enemy units.
Details[]
Strikes all enemies 3 times, dealing Frost damage (X) with 70% of the caster's Power each time the abiltiy hits (up to 210% Power scaling). It applies the buff Slow on the last target stricken. This ability starts with a cooldown of 6 turns, which immediately ticks down when entering a fight, meaning it's available for use on the 6th turn. Furthermore, after it has been used, it enters a cooldown of 6 turns.
The ability's in-game description is indeed missing a blank space before the buff name. It is also incorrect about which units that is applied with the buff, only the last target stricken will get the buff as the ability is programmed to apply it post-execute. This also means that the buff will be applied regardless of whether the last strike hits or not.
Target Buff[]
Slow: Speed reduced by 35%.
The Speed reduction is continuous while the buff is active. When the target ends their turn, a charge is consumed. This buff starts with 2 charges when applied, or 3 if the target doesn't already have this buff already. This buff is considered to be a negative buff.
Users[]
Unit | Encountered | Type |
---|---|---|
Zakk | Zone 4 - The Hidden Forest | Ally |
Frost Mage | Zone 4 - The Hidden Forest | Normal Enemy |
Tactics[]
Pairs well with the Bleed buff, as each strike can trigger it, leading to the buff dealing significant damage.
Since the buff is applied post-execute, the Frost Mage will not be able to Slow the entire party with this ability.
The unit that is on the "last" position is the one who will get the buff from this ability:
- If a team has 3 units, the unit in the top position (which is the 3rd position) will get the buff.
- If a team has 2 units, the unit in the bottom position (which is the 2nd position) will get the buff.
- It goes without saying that if the team has only 1 unit, that unit will get the buff.
Trivia[]
- This ability's icon is a recolor of the Slow buff's icon.
