Savage Strike is a basic attack ability in Sonny (2017). It's available for Sonny from the Nature Strain.
In-Game Description[]
Deal X damage with a Y% chance to apply Breach to the target, reducing its defense. This attack also deals 50% of defense as damage.
Details[]
Strikes an enemy 1 time, dealing Nature damage with 70% of the caster's Power + 50% of the caster's Defense. When this ability hits, it has a Y% chance of applying the buff Breach to the target.

Breach: Defense reduced by 50%. (- Defense 50%)
The Defense modifier is continuous while the buff is active. When the target of this buff ends their turn, a charge is consumed. This buff starts with 2 charges, and will also gains an extra charge if the target doesn't already have it, of the same element. This buff is considered to be a negative buff.

Proc chance (Y%) is upgraded:
- Level 1: 15% chance to apply Breach
- Level 2: 18% chance to apply Breach
- Level 3: 21% chance to apply Breach
- Level 4: 24% chance to apply Breach
- Level 5: 27% chance to apply Breach
Tactics[]
Guard and Stone Form, in conjunction with high Defense, can significantly increase the damage dealt by this ability.
