Regenerate is an Active Ability in Sonny (2017). It's available for Sonny from the Physical Strain.

In-Game Description[]

Recover X HP and dispel one random debuff.

Details[]

Strikes a party member 1 time, restoring HP with 265% of the caster's Power, multiplied with healing factor Y. When this ability hits, the game will check if the target has any negative buffs, and if they do it will randomly dispel 1 negative buff from them. After this ability has been used, it enters a cooldown of 4 turns.

Upgrades[]

Healing factor (Y) is upgraded:

  • Level 1: Multiplied with healing factor 1.05 (278.25% Power)
  • Level 2: Multiplied with healing factor 1.1 (291.5% Power)
  • Level 3: Multiplied with healing factor 1.15 (304.75% Power)
  • Level 4: Multiplied with healing factor 1.2 (318% Power)
  • Level 5: Multiplied with healing factor 1.25 (331.25% Power)

Tactics[]

The dispel effect becomes unreliable if the target has more than 1 debuff and you want to dispel a specific one. This can be especially dangerous if one of the debuffs is a lethal one, for example, the Super Venom debuff from Widow Sting.

Evolutions[]

  • Recommended
    • Diffuse: Makes this ability a powerful AoE healing ability at the cost of +1 cooldown.

Trivia[]

  • This is used as a default ability in Sonny (2017).
  • This is the only skill available to Sonny that has an element that doesn't match the strain it belongs in. This also means that it's unaffected by the Physical Power bonus from upgrading skills in the Physical Strain.
    • Chroma Shell from the Shadow Strain does change element whenever Sonny is hit, however it will always start with the Shadow element.
  • This ability has highest Power scaling of all healing skills that Sonny can use, and also of all the abilities in the Physical Strain.
