Quick Strike (Sonny)

Quick Strike is an active ability in Sonny. It is a default ability for all classes along with Supression. It can be considered a basic attack.

Attack the enemy.

Details[]

Deals damage to a target with 50% of the caster's Speed, Magic, and Strength.

Tactics[]

Quick Strike starts with Sonny and is not available from the Ability Tree. It costs nothing and has no cooldown, so it is useful at the beginning of Sonny. Later in the game, it becomes less useful as Sonny will likely have other abilities which are more effective; however, it may still be useful if the character runs out of Focus, unless if you have focus recovery abilities Blood Focus and Re-Energize, so the ability is worth keeping. Allies like Veradux using the Re-Energize Enemy Skill is also helpful to go back to the abilities other than Quick Strike. However, Quick Strike is a consistent attack, especially if Sonny is a Destroyer or Assassin, where they are both capped at 100 Focus with their best equipment without the use of glitches.

Trivia[]

The skill Strike, used by Veradux and a wide variety of enemies, is very similar in usage; both are no-cost melee skills which serve as default skills. However, Strike has a different animation and scales solely with Strength, and is less accurate.
A version of Quick Strike is used in the Sonny 2 tutorial. It is almost completely identical, but deals double damage to account for discrepancies between the engines, and also a different sound effect.
This skill looks identical to Night Stick.
This is the only ability in Sonny that start with letter "Q", and one of only two in the flash series, with the other being Sonny 2's version of Quick Strike.
- With Sonny (2017), its version of Quick Strike continues this trend as it is the only ability that starts with a "Q".
