New Alcatraz: The Iron Prison is the first zone of Sonny 2.
Sonny and Veradux chase Felicity into New Alcatraz prison, as she stole the tape in the previous cutscene. They fight off many guards and human experiments, formerly the prisoners. They also re-encounter soldiers from the ZPCI.
Summary[]
When the two finally track down Felicity, they find her trying to escape in a truck. Veradux shuts down the truck's engine with an Electro Bolt, and Sonny asks Felicity what's so valuable about the tape. She replies, "It's the key to... Utopia." A battle ensues, and once they have defeated Felicity, she throws them a tape and makes her escape on foot, stabbing Veradux in the face as she leaves. They play the tape in her car's tape player. Anticlimactically, however, it just plays the song: "You Are My Sunshine." They remember Felicity mentioning a Utopia, and finding a map in the car, start to drive there.
Involvement[]
Notably, the mutant enemies fought here (Twisted Experiment, Frankie and Prison Guards with Doctor Leath's Mutant Injection) resemble zombies found elsewhere. As this is a secret facility (given Roald's lack of knowledge about it) and due to the fact that it is visited by the ZPCI, it becomes clear it's used to create new types of zombies, funded by the ZPCI.

- When you click on the Blood Tracks, you may see that 'prison' is not spelled right. The game spells it 'priion'.
- When you fight the Prison Guards, you may only have one team member.
- In the Cinematic, Felicity tries to drive away in a 1971 GMC 1/2 Ton Pickup before Veradux disables it.
