- Mana Bomb makes the sound of the explosion (mostly for fire attacks), although the art make the shattering animation. Robot Mana Bomb makes the sound of the shatter bolt.
- Mana Bomb is named after Mana Bomb, an ability from Sinjid Shadow of the Warrior, an earlier game that was partly made by Krin.
- Despite sharing the same name and user of the ability, Mana Bomb is not accurate to its source. In Sinjid Shadow of the Warrior, Mana Bomb can be cast by Sinjid at any time he wants with just his current amount of mana being used to scale the damage. Within Sonny, however, Sinjid must use the entirety of his Focus to cast Mana Bomb. Robot Mana Bomb is more accurate to Sinjid's Mana Bomb, however.
