Haze is an Active Ability in Sonny (2017). It's available for Sonny from the Nature Strain.
In-Game Description[]
Deal X damage to all targets and Blind them, reducing hit chance by 50%.
Details[]
Strikes all enemies 1 time with a ranged attack, dealing Nature damage with 150% of the caster's Power, multiplied with damage factor (Y). When this ability hits, it applies the buff Blind to them. After it has been used, it enters a cooldown of 6 turns.
While this ability applies the AoE effect through a reaction that always triggers, it's no different from having the "AoE" special attribute initially.

Blind: Hit chance reduced by 50%. (- Hit Chance)
The -50% Hit. Bonus modifier is continuous while the buff is active. When the target of this buff ends their turn, a charge is consumed. This buff starts with 2 charges when applied, and gains an extra charge if the target doesn't already have this buff, of the same element. It's also considered to be a negative buff.
Upgrades[]
Damage factor (Y) is upgraded:
- Level 1: Multiplied with damage factor 1.05 (157.5% Power)
- Level 2: Multiplied with damage factor 1.1 (165% Power)
- Level 3: Multiplied with damage factor 1.15 (172.5% Power)
- Level 4: Multiplied with damage factor 1.2 (180% Power)
- Level 5: Multiplied with damage factor 1.25 (187.5% Power)
Tactics[]
Combine with the buffs Slow or Snare to reduce Hit Chance even further. This can be used to activate the effects of Shadow Waltz more often.
Trivia[]
- This ability is the only source of the Blind buff available to Sonny's party.
