In-Game Description[]
Deal Fire damage equal to your Strength and Magic and an additional 75.
Details[]
Deals damage to a target equal to 100% of the caster's Strength and Magic, +75.
Tactics[]
At level 6, when it is first available, Flame Strike is a very powerful damaging ability for any class thanks to its flat damage bonus of +75. Due to scaling with both Strength and Magic however, Flame Strike is particulary strong for Guardians. Flame Strike uses a lot of focus, so some method of recovering your own focus is recommended (such as Blood Focus or Regeneration).
By the time you reach The Infinity, Flame Strike should usually be discarded in favour of Electro Bolt as a main damage skill since Electro Bolt scales much better with your Strength and Magic, as well as having a lower focus cost. The exception to this is if you are playing the Gunslinger class and have the Frost Lantern equipped. The +300 Fire Piercing from the Frost Lantern increases the power of Flame Srike significantly enough that it remains an effective way of dealing damage.
