The Fire Strain is an unlockable strain for Sonny in Sonny (2017).
This strain is focused on dealing high damage, either using crits or applying damage over time effects. It also has some crowd control capabilities. However, this strain lacks recovery skills, the ones it has are either too weak in power or will only heal Sonny himself.
This strain has 3 (de)buffs that is only available for Sonny here: Affliction, Burn, and Blaze Aura. Affliction and Burn are damage over time effects that works the same as Venom, but can stack together on the same target for massive indirect damage. Blaze Aura is similar to Clarity, both increasing Crit. Chance for one cast.
This strain's unique evolution is Apocalypse, which increases the evolved ability's power scaling by +100% additively but increases it's cooldown by 2 turns. The evolution's description is a bit misleading, the evolution does not double the damage.
