Epiphany is an active ability in Sonny 2.
In-Game Description[]
Causes the target to suffer damage equal to X% of your Instinct each turn, for 7 turns. This effect cannot be stacked.
Details[]
Attacks an enemy with 5 nominal damage, and gives it damage over time for 7 turns.
Buff[]
Epiphany: The truth hurts. This unit suffers X% of the caster's Instinct as damage every turn.
Upgrades[]
- Tier 1: Deals damage equal to 90% of the caster's Instinct
- Tier 2: Deals damage equal to 100% of the caster's Instinct
- Tier 3: Deals damage equal to 110% of the caster's Instinct
- Tier 4: Deals damage equal to 120% of the caster's Instinct
Tactics[]
If used together with Insecurity and Dark Echoes (Epiphany-Dark Echoes-Insecurity-Dark Echoes X4) it will increase significantly its damage. A basic strategy you will use on battles against a single enemy is casting Insecurity, debuffing your enemy, and surviving. It will usually kill the enemy over the 7 turns it lasts or even sooner.
Another good tactic is attacking two enemies at the same time. How? You cast Epiphany and Insecurity on an enemy and go on attacking another one.
Another good tactic is applying Epiphany and then going to Psychopath form and just pummel the enemy with Corruption - Epiphany is undispellable so you can cast Corruption every turn
Also, if you need to kill an enemy soon, use the combo mentioned before but instead of using Dark Echoes four times, use it once and then use Implosion.

Trivia[]
- This ability looks identical to Traumatize, Psychopath Form, Retrograde, Doom and Tick Tock.
- Since Overdrive is the ability before this one, the DOT done by Sonny's Epiphany actually deals twice as much damage compared to those used by enemies.
