In-Game Description[]
Deal X damage and apply Snare to the target, reducing its speed by 80% for one hit (or 2 turns).
Details[]
Strikes an enemy 1 time, dealing Fire damage with 100% of the caster's Power, multiplied with damage factor Y. It applies the negative buff Snare on hit. This ability also has a hidden +30% Hit Chance bonus. After it has been used, it enters a cooldown of 4 turns.
Buff[]
Snare: Speed reduced by 80% until hit.
The Speed modifier is continuous while the buff is active. When the target is attacked, a charge is consumed. Starts with 1 charge when applied, and a duration of 2 turns. The duration ticks down when the target ends their turn.
This debuff also applies a negative AI Target Factor on the target, which causes the ally AI to target them less frequently. The target can still be hit by AoE abilities, if there's another valid target for the ability.
Upgrades[]
Damage Factor (Y) is upgraded:
- Level 1: Multiplied with damage factor 1.1 (110% Power)
- Level 2: Multiplied with damage factor 1.2 (120% Power)
- Level 3: Multiplied with damage factor 1.3 (130% Power)
- Level 4: Multiplied with damage factor 1.4 (140% Power)
- Level 5: Multiplied with damage factor 1.5 (150% Power)

Tactics[]
Can be used to significantly slow down an enemy that heals or has an ultimate ability.
Applying Snare on an enemy already afflicted with Slow reduced their speed to 1. The slowdown will not be much better than just using Snare, however both debuffs can be used to further reduce the target's Hit Chance.
This ability becomes tricky to use if Kara and/or Zakk is in your party since they have ultimates that targets all enemies. You'll either have to not use these allies or to keep track on their ultimate cooldowns.
Trivia[]
- This buff's icon is the same as this ability's icon. Applying Snare from Constrict or Volt Snare will still use this ability's icon for the buff icon.
