Blend is an Active ability in Sonny (2017). It's available for Sonny from the Shadow Strain.

In-Game Description

Restore X HP and reduces cooldown of the target's previous ability by 3 turns. Also grants Haste, increasing the unit's speed by 30%.

Details

Strikes a party member 1 time, restoring HP with 170% of the caster's Power, multiplied with healing factor Y. It also applies the buff Haste to the target, and has a 99% chance of refreshing the target's previously used ability by 3 turns. After this ability has been used, it enters a cooldown of 5 turns.

This ability is currently bugged as of the latest version of the game (PC 1.6.7). The cooldown refreshing effect stops working after the player loads the save file with this ability learned. The player must respec and re-learn this ability in order for the effect to work again. This glitch is more explained in detail in the Glitches page.

Buff

Haste: Speed increased by 30%. (+ Speed 30%)

The +30% Speed modifier is continuous while the buff is active. When the target of this buff ends their turn, a charge is consumed. This buff starts with 2 charges when applied, and gains an extra charge if the target doesn't already have this buff, of the same element. It's also considered to be a positive buff.

Upgrades

Healing factor (Y) is upgraded.

• Level 1: Multiplied with healing factor 1.05 (178.5% Power)
• Level 2: Multiplied with healing factor 1.1 (187% Power)
• Level 3: Multiplied with healing factor 1.15 (195.5% Power)
• Level 4: Multiplied with healing factor 1.2 (204% Power)
• Level 5: Multiplied with healing factor 1.25 (212.5% Power)

Tactics

Assuming the refresh is working as normal, this ability can be used on Kara to significantly increase her damage output by refreshing Shadow Blade or EMP Blast. It can also be used to refresh the abilities that apply Weaken, as Sonny doesn't have access to that buff outside of evolving an ability.

Trivia

• There exist a buff with the same name as this ability, applied by Awaken. The Blend buff is similar to the Haste buff, with the added benefit of increasing Crit. Chance as well.
