Details[]

Strikes an enemy 1 time, dealing Physical damage with 100% of the caster's Power.

This Ability has an reduced A.I. Score Modifier compared to other abilities, at 30% instead of the usual 100%

Tactics[]

Some of the enemies above have this ability coded, but will normally not use it. The biggest reason is that these enemies also have access to an Active Ability with no cooldown. That Ability can be silenced, in which the enemies will use this Ability as sort of a backup attack. The reduced A.I. Score Modifier helps to ensure that these enemies will never use this Ability if their other "0 cooldown" attack is available.

There are some exceptions though. The Frost Wolf has access to Trislash, which is a Basic Attack. This means that the Frost Wolf will never use this Ability unless the player significantly increases the party's Frost Defense. Furthermore, Avatar of Justice doesn't have access to a different "0 cooldown" attack. Instead, all of it's Active Abilities have 1 turn cooldown, meaning it's able to cycle through them without using this Ability.

Trivia[]

  • With the exception of the lowered A.I. Score Mod, this ability is identical to the ally version of Attack.
